Quantum Foundation was created to help enrich the lives of communities around the world. We work closely with, and provide support to, numerous Registered Charities committed to the cause of breaking the cycle of poverty and relieving the worldwide healthcare crisis.
Our goal at Quantum Foundation, the non–profit arm of Quantum Money Services, is to do our share to create sustainable economic development in poor countries; where people are dependant on money remittances for their survival. It is sad and disillusioning that current Money Transfer Companies are doing little to nothing to help reduce the dependence of people on money remittances for their survival. Guyana, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and many more, are countries where money remittances represent a large percentage of the country’s GDP, as much as 30% in come cases.

Our goal for Quantum Express is to become the world’s most successful, and profitable, Money Transfer Company and to use a significant portion of that profit to fund the activities of Quantum Foundation; activities that will reduce the devastation and human suffering caused by poverty;

1. Reducing Poverty
The number one cause for most of the world’s problems is poverty. Poverty can be linked to wars, healthcare challenges, political instability and crime. Quantum’s Micro Enterprise Program will make small loans available to people in poor countries so that they can become self–sufficient and not be continuously dependent on money remittances for survival. In developed countries,
85% of all jobs are created by small business. I am therefore, excited about the potential to help Money Recipients with small loans, and the coaching they need, to start their businesses; with the hope that, someday, their lives will be as prosperous and rewarding as our own.

2. Clean Drinking Water
Almost half of the world’s population does not have clean drinking water. The lack of clean drinking water results in all manner of illnesses and diseases. Over the past few years, we have successfully provided clean drinking water to many parts of the world, especially after major disasters such as earthquakes, mudslides, hurricane and wars. Some of the places where we were able to help hundreds of thousands of people to access clean drinking water include, Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Guatemala, Lebanon, Grenada, China, Brazil, Lebanon, Grenada, China, Brazil, and most recently, Gaza.

3. Empowering Women and Young Girls
An urgent need in the world today is to find ways to empower women and young girls. Oprah Winfrey’s initiative in South Africa, building a school to educate young girls, is a perfect example of the type of initiatives desperately needed in order for women and young girls to take their rightful place in society. The challenge facing women and young girls are disproportionately higher than that of men; trafficking of women and girls is one of the fastest growing areas of organized crime. Violence against females between 15 and 44 years old causes more death and disability than malaria, traffic accidents or even war. Two–thirds of the world’s illiterate people age 15 and older are female.
